Precognitive Dreams of Danger and Death

I had dream about my daughter that something happened to her and the way I dreamed it is exactly how it happened two months later. I also had a vision about an ex of mine and I told him how he was going to die and how he would be found and the position he would be in—and one month later it happened. I also dream that I talk to certain people in my sleep while dreaming and I remember them always and it just feels like I communicate with living people in my sleep. I can't want (wait?) for it to happen and it only is like that with certain people and I don't understand why?

Precognitive Dream Accurately Foretells Injury in Truck Accident

About a month ago I had a dream that my boyfriend and I were riding in the woods at night and he lost control of his truck and we hit a tree and most of my teeth broke off. Last Sunday the dream came true exactly how I had dreamed it. The same dirt road, the same tree, the same song on the radio… the same everything. This is the first time I have ever experienced something like this. I usually don't even remember my dreams, but I remembered that one specifically because I was freaked out by it and it felt so real. Why is this happening to me? I'm scared.

Precognitive Dreams of People Dying—A Family Trait

I've always been different, as have my grandma and her relatives. My mom always told me many stories of how my grandma would have dreams of people dying or attending a funeral of a loved one. She dreamt of attending a funeral, but wasn't able to see who was in the casket. A few weeks later her brother died. Another time was her aunt and uncle, her uncle was drunk and her aunt was killed. A few months later the exact incident happened. Now ever since I was 14 I would have dreams about the future and they would always come true, now I recently had a dream of my mom dying in a car crash. I haven't told her or anyone. I don't know how to explain it to her.

Psychic Vision of Shooting Death

It was one day before I left teachers' college. I had a vision that a very close cousin of mine was engaged in a shooting battle. In the vision I was like a spirit, but only my cousin could see me. I knew everyone he was shooting at and those who was shooting at him. I walked across the gun shots path and said to my cousin, "Forgive them and give your life to Jesus."

He responded by saying, "They started it so I won't allow them to kill me." By this I found myself in a church. My entire family from USA was attending a funeral in Jamaica. When I looked, the person in the coffin was my cousin, but his face was beyond recognition. Shortly after, my mother says she is also here to bury a dead. But I started praying in the vision. When I finally woke up, I heard the spirit of the lord says to me, pray for you family because trouble brews. I got down on my knees and prayed fervently.

When I went home I asked my brothers for my cousin. They told me that the next day, which would be a Saturday, he usually comes there early. The next day I was awakened by loud talkings and lamenting. It was news that the same cousin I saw in the vision was shot and killed and it was the same young men I saw that murdered him.

As my family came to Jamaica, the funeral comes and passed. The same murdering send message that my brother was on the list to be killed just as the dream states. To this day I am scared of me because whatever vision I have, they come just as I see them. I wonder at times if something is wrong with me. Sometimes I will hear people that I know talking things. I see what they wear and where they are. Then after couple of days I proved that it happened just as I see it. It happens openly and sometimes in dreams and visions. Can I get rid of it? What can I do??

Dream Accurately Foretells Future Bride and Wedding

I had a dream one night. I was watching myself getting married. On the wall was a huge clock out of proportion. It said 1:00 p.m. I can see myself perfectly fine. The woman has a wedding dress and large white hat on. I can't see her face because she is wearing orange and blue sunglasses. In my dream I thought to myself this is odd because I am not seeing any one right now.

A few weeks later I had a date with a girl named Heidi. I was telling her of my dream and what I saw.

She said, "Excuse me, I will be right back." When she came out of her bedroom, she said, "Did the glasses looking anything like these?"

I fell off the couch and said, "It was you in my dream." My body went cold.

Here is the other freaky part, the huge clock was right because we ended up getting married at 1:00 p.m. Though the marriage did not last, my future was being shown to me in advance. This dream took place in 1989 when I was 26 years old!

Childhood Dreams Foretell Future Husband and Wedding?

When I was 9 years old, I asked the Universe if anyone would ever look at me twice because I was so weird. I began to get clues after that. One day I heard the violin and I knew "he" (whoever he was) played the violin. The same thing with the name "John" (I knew that was his middle name), and the same with fantasy and sci-fi. I let it go because I figured that was too basic to come up with anything.

When I was 10, my mom mentioned a college that my cousin was going to. I sat up straight and told her that I knew where that college was, "I get married there." I told her, "His name is Evan and his brother Ed is the best man at our wedding. He is a doctor and went to Columbia; we get married after his med school is over, and we live in the City with a cat. He's a friend of a friend but they stop being friends. He has an annoying allergy, but I love him anyway. He treats me better than you and Dad treat each other and he thinks I'm smart. He believes in me."

My mom laughed at me and told me I was being silly. I got tired of arguing with her so I stopped. Then when I was 13 I met a friend of a friend and my heart stopped when I looked at him, and I couldn't breathe. I then reconnected with him (whose name is Evan and he actually goes to that college) via the internet, but he is currently dating someone else (it's our senior year of college). I know that nothing is set in stone but … why would I know so many specifics about him? Is it possible he is 'the one'?

Child's Premonitions of Danger and Death

It started when I was a young child, probably about four. My parents had company over and I was sent to bed with my brother who was three. I remember this feeling of being washed over with dread and I started crying uncontrollably that my mom was going to die. I am not sure I even fully understood what that meant, but it was such a horrible feeling I have never forgotten it. When I was 15, I started dreaming that my mom had cancer, about a month later we found out that she did.

I would have nightmares and anxiety about my house burning down. It got to the extent that I had an escape route from my second story bedroom and thought about it regularly, then of course it happened.

I continued dreaming about my mom passing, she did within a year.

One night I dreamed that my grandfather was on the floor on his hands and knees coughing and gasping for air, then I forced myself to wake up. Three days later my aunt called to tell us my grandfather had passed away. She told us about the preceding incident of him on his hands and knees on the floor coughing and gasping for air. He had undiagnosed pancreatic cancer which had spread to his lungs.

Premonitions and Warnings of Death

(edited for privacy and space) It first started when I was 17 and all summer I kept telling myself I needed to call my aunt before something happens … but of course I told myself that nothing is going to happen to her … anyway one night in October I heard something say, "Someone is here to see you." I remember saying "OK." When I opened my eyes (which by the way I felt like I was awake), I saw my aunt. I started to tell her, I'm sorry I didn't come see her during the summer and that I should have called, but i didn't and I was so sorry. She looked at me and told me, "It was ok and everything will be alright." In the dream she kept looking back and then she finally looked at me and said she had to go. I asked her where and she told me not to worry and that she will be seeing me soon. So I said my goodbye.

The next day at school I didn't realize I what I'd dreamt because I just thought it was a dream—until my 7th period class. I felt a presence like someone touched me and right then I knew something was wrong. I left class to go home to call her. I called and called, but no answer. Until my sister-in-law got home and she told me my aunt has passed away.

It happened again when I was pregnant with my first child. I dreamt I was in the same room that I saw my aunt in beforehand, and I was with my sisters and my aunt, and a woman that later turns out to be my mother. We were all laughing and talking and they were passing the baby around. Finally she looked back and then looked at me and told she had to go. Something made me say, "MOM where are you going?" And she told me it's ok, she will be seeing me.

Since then I had dreams like that when I became pregnant with my son and then the last one like that, was when a friend of mine (Alex), that I was just thinking, wondering how she was. When I fell asleep I heard someone say you have someone here to see you and I said, "Who is it?" Then that someone or something said, "Alex." … When I opened my eyes I saw her and she looked the same, and I asked how she was; and she said, Ok. I asked what she be up to, and she said, Nothing much. I told her I was sorry for not going to see her when she wanted me to, and not calling or anything. She told me it was ok and not to worry about it. Then she looked back and looked at me and told me she had to go. I wanted to say, Call me; but something said she can't. So I told her I'll see you later, and she said, Sure will. The next day I found out that she died the night before. She was only 22.

Sometimes I wonder about these dreams and if I am psychic. … I feel like I know more than what I should about my future, which scares me sometimes. … What is going on? Can some one please help me out?

Weird Things Have Been Happening to Me …

Ever since my junior year of high school, weird things have been happening to me. Most of the dreams I have come true at some point. The very first dream I had was of my best friend and my boyfriend sleeping together and I never would have suspected this, but come to find out they were. Not only do my dreams come true, but when I make a guess it is almost always correct as well. Also things happen such as me singing a song in my head and it coming on the radio as soon as I get in the car, and I'll be talking about someone and seconds later or during the conversation they come in the room. If something catches my eye, it becomes important at some point in the future. I don't understand what this is, anyone have an idea?!

Angel's Dream Warning?

I had a scary dream of an angel coming to me and my two boys. The angel looked like the one from the movie Legion. Exactly like him. Well, he put his hand on my oldest son and smiled, and said he would have a happy life. He then put his hand on my youngest and stopped smiling, and said that my baby would die when he is one year and ten months because of a perverted babysitter.

My son will be a year and ten months next month and I am freaking out. I would die if anything happened to my baby. I've had dreams before of actual things going on. I hope to god this dream is not one of them. It's so scary.

Dreams of a Friend in Trouble

Hey, I'm a teen and I don't know whether this is just a part of me growing up
or it's something else. In the last few months I have been having dreams that my friend jumps off the roof of our school, and it's not like I'm living it, it's like I am watching it like a movie.

Things like this have happened before. Once I dreamed my Great-Auntie would die in a car accident and then the next day it happened.

I'm scared my dream will come true, I don't want to lose a good friend.

Visions of Auto Accident

Ok so here is my story. This has been happening for a long time; my father was the same way when he was alive. For three months I was driving and I would always see this terrible accident, of a man plowing into the back of my car. And I always felt terrible driving.

On May 20, 2010, I was in a really bad car accident, the same accident I had seen for three months. I needed spine surgery and everything. I am doing good now, but I thought it was so weird.

I am trying to learn how to channel premonitions; it doesn't always happen to me. I am a firm believer that people are just like this. But what makes me have these premonitions? It would be great if someone could let me know.

Sixth Sense that "Something was Wrong" at the Moment of Father's Death

On the night of January 31, 1997 at 2:00 a.m. I awoke bolt upright … first time ever in my life this has happened. My wife awoke and asked what was wrong. i didn't know, but had a strong sense something was wrong and had no recollection of dreaming. I settled back down to sleep. An hour later around 3:00 a.m. the phone rang; it was my sister sobbing, telling me our father had died an hour earlier from a heart aneurysm. Not sure about psychic bridging, but this account seems close to it to me.

Dream of Cello Teacher's Death

While I was a teenager I took cello lessons from an elderly Russian immigrant named Sergei. He was very impatient, had a quick temper, and I was not good at the cello—a bad combination. He finally referred me to another teacher who was more patient, but I didn't progress with the cello and stopped taking lessons after only a couple of months.

Several years later, after no contact with Sergei, I had a nightmare about him. In my dream he was playing a very sad song on his cello. When I asked him why he was playing such a sad song, I realized in my dream that he had a large dent in the side of his head. This surreal dent horrified me and I woke up.

At the time I was supporting my family by working at a local boatyard. We had a catering truck that came for mid-morning break every day. The day after my nightmare, in line for the catering truck, people were discussing a suicide that had happened the previous night. It was Sergei. He shot himself in the head.

Dreams of Family Members Dying

Every time I dream of a family member it appears they'll die. A year ago, I dreamed of a close cousin that I hadn't seen in 15 years. I kept having dreams about him. My dreams, he looked happy and sometimes he'll talk to me, stuff I don't even recall. A week went by and I saw a little boy outside my neighborhood and he reminded me of my cousin 'cause he looked almost identical to him.

Another week went by and I received a call from another cousin of mine at 2:00 a.m. She was crying and hysterical. I asked what was the matter, she explained that some guys had just shot my cousin to death. It make me very sad and angry at the same time. If I probably would of said something maybe called my uncle and told him about it, I could have prevented it? …

Six months went by and I started dreaming of my grandpa. He was like a dad to me. I kept on dreaming about him very constantly. He got admitted to the hospital and he kept getting sicker. I had one last dreamed about him where he seemed happy, smiling at me—next day he dies. It was heartbreaking.

Yesterday, I met my neighbor's daughter. We chatted for a while. I really like her, enjoy talking to her. She's a very positive person. Anyway, she's got pneumonia so I fixed homemade chicken noodle soup in hopes for her to get better. I said I will come back tomorrow and check on you. At night I couldn't go to sleep 'cause she was constantly in my dreams. I kept seeing her face as soon as I closed my eyes. This morning I go over to my neighbor's to check on her and she's been taken to the hospital.

Now I am scared she might die like all the ones I dream and end up dying. She's got cancer and I heard that cancer has spread to her lungs. It is very heartbreaking once again for me and here I am crying. I feel very sad.

A Ride to the Other Side

A few days before Christmas, 2010, I dreamed I was in a car driven by my deceased aunt. My older sister was beside me in the back seat, and next to her was someone. They were just a shadow of a person, so I couldn't see who it was. My aunt drove like a crazy person, swerving back and forth across the street, just missing several things. I was sure she was going to kill us all.

Then I found myself standing alone on the sidewalk, watching the car drive out of sight down the street with everyone still in it. I woke up knowing I was going to lose my sister. From previous dreams I'd learned if someone went off with a person from the other side, it meant they'd die soon. My sister passed away on January 3rd.

I knew someone else close to me would die within months. Those who are only shadows in my dreams do that. My oldest sister passed away on April 11th.

What my being in the car for that short, crazy ride means, I'm not sure. My first thought on waking up was that it meant I was in for a rough road ahead. That could be true. In February, a test showed no improvement in a nasty infection I'd been fighting for the year and a half before. I guess only time, and perhaps my dreams, will tell.

Vision of Nuclear Explosion in the Middle East

This morning 14 June 2011, I had a dream (vision), while sleeping, I saw troops (American) retreating from a nuclear explosion. My guess is that it is Afghanistan, but could be anywhere in the Middle East, I am not sure. Many of these soldiers will most likely die. I hope my dream is not true, however, if my vision happens, it will most likely happen within a week or exactly 7 days. I had three visions many years ago involving aircraft accidents, and they all came true, and I even told my girlfriend and others about it, always occurring 7 days later.

Dream of Collision in Space

(edited) I had this dream…. I didn't remember it until recently when I saw something on TV about the space shuttle disaster that happened in the 1980's. That's when I remembered this dream. I recall that as the space shuttle was leaving the space station something happened and it crashed into the space lab. It happened as a result of someone programming a computer incorrectly causing it to go the wrong direction and it couldn't be corrected in time. The only reason I am telling this dream is because I have had too many of my dreams come true. This scares me because I worry that if something dreadful happened and I didn't do what I could to prevent it, I would never forgive myself.

Teen Premonition Dream Comes True

Hey I'm a teen and I'm not sure if it's just growing up or something, but every few months I've been getting these physic dreams. Well let's just say all the dreams I have, regular and psychic, I'm seeing myself like I'm watching myself in a movie. Anyway I had this dream, and in the dream I dropped a quarter and I went down on the floor to pick it up and I noticed that under a shelf there was a saxophone orange colored hair clip. I had never seen it before in my life except in the dream.

The next day in real waking life I went to the Goodwill thrift store and I was looking at books on the bookshelf, and I had a dollar in quarters in my hand. I accidentally dropped the quarter, and when I bent down to pick it up, sure enough there was the saxophone hair clip...

I know the story isn't life changing or anything amazing, but sometimes I just wonder how I had that psychic dream. How do I have more psychic dreams? Can you please give me some answers. Thanks.

Dreamwatch Blog10 Tips to Improve Dream Recall

Premonition Dreams Predict Relationship Breakups

I don't have these premonition dreams all the time but when I do and I wake from them it's like I know that it will happen. From what I can recall I have had two, only and always, about the relationships I'm in. Like my first one was that my boyfriend was cheating on me with this certain person and it came so true. Next one was with my next relationship. The scenario was almost the same, but everything else was the same—cheating—and it came out to be true. I don't know if it's because of me being a Cancer (Zodiac sign), so emotional and stuff. But when it happens in my dream, I wake up thinking, gosh, I just know it will happen. Then it does. And always, and only with relationships.

Dreams Predicting Death

(edited for privacy) I honestly feel that I have some of my (ancestor's) gifts and it truly frightens me sometimes. Here is one of many of the dreams I have had. This is probably the one that was of the greatest significance to me.

I had a dream when I was younger that my great aunt was going to die. I was only about 6 or 7 yrs. old at the time. I woke up crying and immediately told my grandmother, who is my (great) aunt's sister. She yelled at me and told me never to say something like that again. But as years went on I continued to have the same exact dream. She was lying in a bed very skinny, and dying. The dream was really not a dream at all; it was more like pictures flashing in my mind while i slept.

When I was about 10 yrs. old they stopped. Until I was 12, I had the same dream again. Two months after I had the dream, I came home from school and my grandmother was crying. I asked her what was wrong and she said that Aunt Dotty was dying of cancer and that the doctor's couldn't help her because it was too far along, and that she had to go to Virginia to take care of her until she passed away. I didn't want to tell her that I had the dream again two months earlier. I think sometimes that I started having that dream to warn my Aunt that she was sick and needed to get help, she was the type of woman who never went to see a doctor. Unfortunately, my aunt died a week later. She was an amazing woman. I continue to have dreams that come true, thankfully, none of them have been of people dying.

Premonitions of Future Events - Deaths in the Family

I have been having the same dream for over a week, my daughter gets hit by a car and killed. I know most people just dismiss it as a dream but this has happened before with my sister, uncle, and nan and granddad, where after a week of the dream each of them died. I always put it down to just a silly dream thought nothing more of it but this is my baby, my only child, and I'm really scared. I don't want to lose her. I don't just dream about death. The same thing happens with everyday events. I dream it and it happens. My mum says I'm nuts and so does the rest of my family. Is there anything to my dreams or is it coincidence? Or am I just nuts?

Premonition of Quake in the U.K.

(Submitted Sunday Sept. 19, 2010) For the past few weeks I have had a strong premonition of a quake in the UK. It gets more vivid every day and gains strength as does the accompanying headache and a growing sense of unease.

Physical Manifestation from a Dream

I had a dream in the morning at 6:00 a.m. that something has hurt my left eye and my lips. I got up with that pain but couldn't see anything around that could hit me. But, even after waking up I felt the pain in my left eye and lips. Can someone interpret my dream?

Dream of Rescue by Former Boyfriend

14 years ago, I dated my first love for 2 years. We broke it off. No fight....we just knew there couldn't be more. Now 12 years later of not seeing each other, I have this dream. I was running with my children trying to get to my car to get away from someone. My car was locked. He (my ex-boyfriend) showed up. He looked the same, a little older and a little heavier in the belly. He helped us get safe. The thing that bothers me....It was as if I expected him to be there. What does this mean?

Dream of Future Event - Father's Death

As long as I can remember I had a dream where these men would be standing behind me and I'd be sitting in a chair in front of them. They were all dressed in suits & ties, and had black hair. They would always ask me the same question. They'd ask, "Who do you love more, us, or your dad? And if you say you love your dad more he will die!" So of course, I'd always answer, "I love you more." Finally, when I was 7 yrs. old I was so tired of having these dreams as it seemed they happened several time's a week and I decided I was not going to keep giving them control and I was going to tell the truth. So the next time when I had the dream, I answered, "I love my dad more." I awoke early in the morning hearing sobbing coming from my living room. (It turned out to be relatives.) My mom came in and told me my father had died last night of a heart attack! He was only 39 yrs. old. I never had the dream again.

Premonitions of Future Events - Grandmother's and Father's Deaths

(minor edits for space) When I was around 9 years old, I had this strange feeling one night. I was sitting on the top stair of our house crying and my mother asked me why I was crying and I said, "Something bad is going to happen to grandma" and a few weeks later she passed away. 15 years later, I was at university, buying a new watch battery when I had that feeling again. A few minutes later, my cell phone rang, and it was my brother telling me that my father has cancer and he doesn't have too long to live. Flash forward 6 years ... I'm married and have a wonderful 6 month old son. My mother came to visit me when my son was 2 months old and a few weeks before that, I had that feeling again. The day my mother arrived, we received a phone call from my brother saying that his daughter had just died. ...

Premonition of Future Event - Vision of House in Flames

(edited for space) December 1990 I was living with my parents and my little sister when one day while sitting at the kitchen table smoking a cigarette I looked up at the kitchen sink and saw it engulfed in flames. I can see the flames rise up to the ceiling. I walked to the living room and looked out the window and saw my fiance looking up at the window in total shock and hysterical. I began hitting the window and calling his name but then suddenly he disappeared. I was in shock and wondered how did I get over here I was just sitting at the kitchen table. For the next 2 weeks for some reason I would tell my mom we needed to get dad out of the house. My dad was a heavy man and could hardly walk. He was 65 yrs old. So my mom would tell me you're nuts but I insisted we take my dad to his brother's house for the holidays, but my mom wouldn't listen. Everybody thought I was nuts. On December 29,1990 at 5:00 a.m. my mom woke me up from a deep sleep and she told me go check the hallway, "I hear the fire alarm." So I did. When I opened the kitchen door, the hallway was full of smoke so I closed the door and told my mom get dad and my sister out of the house. (We lived on the second floor.) I quickly ran and got my two-week old baby girl. My mom told me, "Get the baby out. I'll get your dad." My sister didn't want to leave my mom. I ran down the stairs thinking mom and dad will be out soon. But the minute I got to bottom and turned around the stairs were engulfed in fire and the front door was covered in debris and flames. I had to climb out the window with the baby. The fire department arrived. I was hysterical looking for my family when all of a sudden someone grabbed me; it was my 10 yr. old sister who had to jump out the window because the only exit by the kitchen was on fire. I asked her, "Where's mom and dad?" She said, "They're still in there." I ran to the front of the house calling my mom and dad. When I heard a voice calling me, I couldn't see anyone, so under all the debris in front of the house laid my mother who jumped from the window. The paramedics quickly saw her and before they took her I asked, where's dad. She said, "He's still in there." Sadly dad passed away in the fire. He was found by the kitchen sink where I saw the visions of the fire a week before. If only everyone would've believed in me and let me take dad out of the house for the holidays.

Recurring Dream of Auto Crash - And a Ghostly Warning

I had a recurring nightmare 7 years ago at the age of 36 of my husband who is now 55 having a car accident. I had this dream 5 times over a period of a month and on the impact would wake and sit upright in a panic and sweating. This dream seemed to last for just seconds and was identical every time. I was suddenly (sitting) in the back of my husband's car but in the dream I was actually aware that I wasn't actually in the car but just an observer. All I could see was my husband and out the windscreen. All of a sudden a red lorry came towards him and hit him head on. That's when I woke in a sweat. Three weeks after the dream had stopped, we went on holiday with our daughters and grandchildren. I travelled down with my husband, and the others in their own cars. We all arrived safely and I didn't give the dream another thought. We had a great holiday and were all in the cars ready to travel home when my stepdaughter came to the window of our car and said her husband didn't want her and their 8 month old daughter in their car because the seatbelt had broken. I offered to swap cars and let them travel home in our car and I go in theirs. We set off and about an hour into the journey we were on the motorway and my husband was travelling behind us. I just happened to glimpse into the passenger wing mirror and observed a red van hit my husband's car. How my husband and the van driver got off the motorway without any other cars being involved was beyond belief and nobody was hurt. The crash wasn't exactly as the dream but I felt like it was a warning. My mother told me that at that exact time, my father appeared before her who passed 13 years ago. She phoned me and told me this before I had a chance to tell her about the accident. I would just like to add that this is the only car accident that my husband has had and he has been driving for nearly 40 years.

Dreams of Future Events

(edited for space) Well there has been more than one time that I have seen happenings in my dreams that occur the same exact way in real life. Every dream I have feels completely real ... as though I'm there completely until I wake up. ... My dreams that tell my exact future happen very randomly. It may come true days, months, sometimes years later. For example, before I visited relatives in their brand new house, I already knew what it would look like. While visiting them, what I dreamed happened in every way and second I had seen it. Another example would be just riding in the car with my aunt, talking to her. We had the same conversation, I saw the same scenery, everything was just as I had seen it before. Another example would be my current boyfriend because before my dream he was already with someone else. In my dream we were dating and I was walking to the park with my sister to see him. Later on my dream happened exactly the way it occurred only in real life. The same conversations, scenery, etc. One of my latest dreams told me of my dogs fighting and a couple of days after, it happened the same way I had already seen it. ... Thank you for reading what I have to say because it's nice to be able to share things with others and not thinking of their reaction, should I tell people in real life.

Dream Premonitions of Everyday Scenes

I don't exactly remember when this happened, but perhaps eight years ago (I'm fourteen now) I had a dream about a video game that I'd never heard of or seen before. A couple months later, I saw an early screenshot for that game. Two years later, I sat down and played that exact same game, and watched the exact same scene I saw in my dream.Yeah, that's nothing special. However, I've had multiple dreams like this about being somewhere, with some random people I often don't know, doing something. And years later, I'm in that exact same scene and when I realize it, my mind kind of flashes for a sec and I can't think for a couple seconds. The only problem is I usually don't remember the dreams clearly until I relive it.

Premonitions of Obscure Entertainment

I was driving my car when the song "September" by Tony Bennett came to mind. I turned on the radio and the next song to play was "September." A week later that thing happened again. Either I dreamed it or thought about it out of the blue, the movie "Remo Williams." It was a Disney production with Fred Ward and Joel Grey. I woke up and Remo Williams (Part 2) was just starting on Encore (Movie Channel). This "coincidence" has happened three times in one month.

Premonition Warning of Rare Health Condition

I was scheduled for a relatively minor surgery, the 3rd such surgery in four years. All had been done under "Twilight Sleep." A few days before the surgery, I woke up and found a message laying off to one side of my mind that said, "You may not make it through this."For two days I couldn't think of anything else. I'd had no problem with the surgery, and knew this thought hadn't been mine. Not only did I not think of myself as "you," I only used the term "may" the month or to say someone's name. Because I've received so many of these kinds of "messages," either from voices or thoughts, and they'd all proven true, I canceled the surgery. Two weeks later I became quite ill with a bad case of bronchitis (I thought). For the next two and a half months I got progressively worse, and when I started coughing up blood, was referred to a lung specialist, who took many samples and biopsies from my lungs. I had a rare, but treatable condition. With treatment I was feeling so much better, that two months later (eight months after the canceled surgery), I decided to go ahead with the surgery. Because he'd be doing more than he'd done with the other two surgeries, the surgeon was going to use general anesthesia to make certain I'd be out until he was finished. He would have done the same for the earlier canceled surgery. The anesthesiologist came in moments before we went into surgery, and told me he couldn't use the general anesthesia because of my rare condition. And that's when I knew what that strange message had meant. None of us knew I had this condition at the time I'd have had the surgery before. I might not have come through it.

Dream of House from Past

I had a dream two weeks ago about the house where my mother grew up. I have not been in that house since I was 5 years old—over 40 years ago. Anyway, my mother called me today to tell me there was an article in the paper about that house because it caught on fire. How weird is that!

Teen ESP, Intuition, or Both?

My mother was on the phone to a psychic a couple of nights ago and my mum told me the psychic had told her two things about me. One was definitely true, that I have a crush on someone. The other, though, freaked my mum out a bit. The psychic said I have psychic abilities through Dreams and Visions. The psychic said my mum should probably buy me books so I can learn how to meditate and strengthen my abilities. I can't remember having any dreams, but the psychic said my abilities revolve around bad things happening. This year, around May, my mum told me I was sleep talking. Murmuring at first, then yelling. Soon after my best friend and I were at a fair and somebody we were avoiding ... came up to us and starting arguing making things up. This resulted in anger, yelling and screaming, and even a bit of shoving. I think everyone can sense when someone is upset by looking into their eyes, isn't that normal for everyone? The psychic said I can tell feelings through people's eyes. I do pick up when people are uncomfortable or awkward, not wanting to be where they are, upset, and when someone smiles, but it doesn't reach their eyes. This isn't exactly an incredible story but I would really like to find out something about this.

Shared Dreams of Lovers and/or Future Wife

I had a dream several years ago, that I met this woman, who was my lover (Woman A). She was very skinny and I had to chose her or another woman, also my lover (Woman B). In my dream, I was frustrated and was undecided for a while; then I chose Woman B. Woman A was very, very hurt and moved out of the country. In the past year, I have been dating a woman whom is very skinny (Woman A). Last year, she had the dream that I left her and she woke up crying feeling very, very sad/hurt. I have not yet met Woman B and I have never cheated in any of my past relationships. Recently, Woman A has just broken up with me, although I believe this relationship is not over yet... as we have broken up several times. My question in my mind is since we both had the same dream, could this be a premonition of things to come? Has anyone had the same dreams with their lovers and it came true? p.s.: I have dreamed of seeing my last 3 ex-girlfriends, before I met them. I have already dreamed of my next girlfriend (Woman B), and she happened to be my wife, although I don't think I have met her yet.

Spirit Apology?

Last night I had a dream but it felt so real. My eyes were closed but I could feel someone next to me and an arm by my face. It felt familiar. I hugged this arm 'cause I knew who it was. It was my ex-husband, I just knew without looking. My eyes remained heavy and closed still. I was wondering what he was doing here and how he got inside my home. I forced my eyes to open to confirm it was him. I could see his head to his hips right there as I was holding his arm against my face. He was so sorry for everything. I held his arm tighter as to say "don't worry about it." He looked so relieved, so free, like a burden had been lifted from him, and God's light had surrounded him. I then forced my eyes to open so I could talk to him. I opened my eyes and I'm here in my bed. I am shocked and beside myself that he is not here, that he wasn't here. But it felt so real I could still feel his energy with me as if I was still holding his arm. I started screaming and crying. It felt so real. He came to say sorry. He was so sorry. He was my best friend. I didn't realize it till last night but he was my best friend. Even though he was not marriage material he was my best friend. I love him for that. He doesn't have a fixed address. He is always changing mobile numbers, and he only shows up to see the kids once a week, out of the blue with no notice. I am just so overwhelmed by that dream/apparition. I can't stop crying wondering where he is right now or if I am going to get a phone call soon....

A Daughter's Warning - A Mother's Prayer - A Father's Death

This happened in April, 21 years ago. I was engaged to be married and my fiance and I went to Florida during Easter vacation to meet his parents. I had a feeling that something was wrong at home. My fiance remained in Florida but I had to return to college for concert rehearsals; I would perform in two weeks. I attended rehearsals but didn't give it my all and everyone was disappointed in my performance; but I knew inside, that my rehearsal didn't matter. The feeling that something was wrong grew stronger. On Sunday at dress rehearsal, the feeling grew stronger and stronger. I knew I should call home but every time I thought of it, I heard a voice in my head insist, "Don't call home." I resisted but again the voice demanded, "Don't call home." I went to bed that Sunday night, restless, couldn't sleep. There was a knock at the door; it was my fiance who I thought was still in Florida. I asked what was going on, but he first took off his coat and sat with me. He told me that my mother had called him because she didn't want me to hear on the phone, or to be alone when I heard the news. He insisted on returning home to tell me himself that on Saturday night, my father had passed away. My mother was so worried about me, she prayed the rosary for me, and had been repeating, "Don't call home. Don't call home."

Paranormal Physical Warning of Car Hitting Child

I was 8 or 9 years old when this happened. I was walking home from school, not paying attention, walking down the middle of the road. I raised my arm up near my head and suddenly felt like I had walked into something solid, like a solid wall. It so shocking that I turned around to figure out what had happened. That's when I saw a car behind me, speeding down the street toward me. I ran to the side, to safety. If I had not walked into whatever it was, turned around and moved, I believe the car would have run me over.

Dream of Future Event

About 25 years ago I traveled to Saco, Maine with a friend and her mother to visit the friend's uncle. I had never been to that part of Maine before. A couple of weeks before our trip, I had a dream that I was in a car, the car pulled into a community of little cottages and parked. I dreamed of the cottage, its front porch, the yard and how it was set up, even the garbage in the front yard. When my friend and I actually arrived at her uncle's, we parked where I had dreamed. The cottage, porch, and surroundings were exactly like I had seen in my dream. I told my friend that I had seen this place and could even describe the inside of the house, every room and closet, and even where photos of her grandparents hung—and everything was exactly like in the dream even though I had never been there.

Physical Warnings of Future Events

I have only had a couple of experiences with this but when they happen I get real nervous and anxious. I have a history of panic attacks and I almost get to where I am going to have one. The first time it happened I got real nervous and felt like something wasn't right, a couple hours later cops showed up at my neighbors' house and busted through the door because her boyfriend was threatening her with a gun. The other time was a couple of months ago. I got the nervous feeling again and felt as if I was going to have a panic attack and a couple of hours later the ambulance showed up at my neighbors' house and had to rush them to the hospital. My mother has dreams all of the time about people in the family that have passed she also has had a dream two weeks before her father passed away with her and her brothers standing in front of his casket with the same outfit that my grandmother had picked out for him but my mom didn't help her pick it out. I'm just wondering if something didn't get passed down from her to me; and why does she have those dreams and why do I get nervous before something happens?

Vision of Future Event - Auto Accident

I started seeing things out of the corner of my eye. I would look and nothing. After a while I started to see more and the more. I would see it or they started touching me, and I started feeling worm (warm?) places on my body mostly my feet. No one believes me. Well two days ago I was driving down the road and I came to a bridge. I saw something white and it looked like something red, like people in uniforms. It freaked me out so bad I thought it was real—I even slammed on the brakes. I thought I was going crazy. About a hour later, I got on the Interstate and I saw lights. As I approached a bridge I saw men in uniforms and a Durango upside down. It started freaking me out even more. I'd just seen it (in the vision). Do you know anyone that can help me? I would like to learn more. Or am I really nuts?

Dream of Future Event - Bike Accident

I had a dream that I was biking and I banged into a house, then I woke up. Several days later, my friend borrowed my bike; when he was on the street, a car surprised him then he (quickly swerved) and he banged into my house. I was shocked because I felt that incident in my dream happened to my friend and not to me.

Dream of Future Event - Figurines

Some time back I had a very simple dream. It was as if I was looking down through the big end of a telescope at a man's hands which were holding two small paint speckled figurines of Joseph and Mary. As he turned the figures over in his fingers he was speaking but his words were muffled and distant-inaudible. A week or so later I visited the home of someone I had never met. He started talking about the day of his father's funeral, how after the funeral he found a quiet spot in woods near his house to mourn, while he sat quietly all alone he heard his father's voice. He looked up and saw his father sitting beside on a log. They talked for a while then he vanished. After telling me this he pulled two small paint speckled figurines from his pocket and told me how these two fragile pieces of plaster went through a crusher without so much as a scratch. They were exactly like the figures I saw a week earlier in my dream!

Dream of Mushroom Cloud

I keep having the same dream that I'm dusting a table in front of a big picture window and I look up and see a reddish orange mushroom cloud in the sky. Later I look in the room and outside, and there's a lot of grayish white suet on everything, and everything outside and inside is dead. It's the same dream every time I dream it, I've dreamt it probably 10 years now. I'd love to know what it means.

Dream Premonition of Auto Accident and Injuries

I've had a number of premonition dreams but this was the first and perhaps the most important one. I was 16 at the time that it happened. To begin with, I had the dream in the morning. In my dream I was in a room that was mint green, and I realized I was in a hospital. Then there was this thought running through my head "my brother is hurt worse than me." Then a nurse appeared to attend to me. I woke up, and got into the shower. While showering I thought to myself, "Why am I showering, I was just in the hospital." It occurred to me that this thought was ridiculous. I went to school and afterwards to work. At work I remember talking to my coworker and describing the dream to her. I told her that it was odd because I never recollected being in a hospital before. Well, sure enough a few days later I got in a terrible car accident with my brother and friend. We were really lucky because moments before the crash my friend warned us to put on our seatbelts, so we did. Without them we would have been seriously injured or dead. Upon my arrival to the hospital I looked around the room I was in, it was mint green. I knew my brother was hurt worse than me. I told my father and other brothers that I had had a dream about it, but my brothers laughed and said it was ridiculous. My father believed me though. Since then I've had some other premonitions, but about more minor things. It is weird, and I can't explain it, just that I know there is something more to life than just what we see.

Shared Dream of Future Event - Meeting Someone

I once dreamed that I was in a room I didn't recognize, although the details of the room were quite clear, and it all seemed very real. I was talking with a person I knew only slightly, about a situation concerning both of us. In reality, I knew this person actually knew nothing of the situation. About a week after I'd had the dream meeting, I ran into this person. Their reaction upon seeing me was as if we'd actually spent that dream time together and had had the conversation I'd dreamed we did.

Premonition of Marriage

One day, when I was fifteen, my older sister's boyfriend stopped by our farm on his way to town. He had a stranger with him, a guy who worked with him. While he and my sister were off somewhere by themselves, the stranger entertained the rest of my family with stories about his childhood. He'd only been talking for a few minutes when a voice in my head said very clearly, "This man will be your husband." I laughed it off then because marriage was the last thing I was thinking of. Less than a year later, on my way to be married, I remembered it again. The man beside me, the man who would shortly become my husband, was the stranger.

"Earthquake 'Swarm' Rattles Southern California"

On Tuesday, March 24th, 2009, at approximately 7:30 a.m. EDT I had a dream that I was walking a wooded path and everywhere I stepped, swarms of bees flew out of holes in the ground. I wasn't afraid and they didn't sting. Then I awoke to rumbling and rattling—the whole house was shaking like a train was traveling through the front yard. (I don't live near the tracks.) It felt like an earthquake, which rarely happen here. I searched online but found no Conn. earthquake reports. Today, March 25th, I was watching CNN on TV and the following headline crawled the bottom of the screen: "Earthquake ’swarm’ rattles Southern California." Freaked me out! The following has been posted on their web site: CNN.com "LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — There's a whole lot of shaking going on in the desert of Southern California.

"None of them are particularly big, but at least 10 earthquakes, ranging from a magnitude 2.5 to a magnitude 4.8 have hit the Salton Sea area about 90 northeast of San Diego since about 5 a.m. (8 a.m. ET) Tuesday. Dozens more "micro" quakes, of even smaller magnitude also are rattling the region, probably going unnoticed by most folks.“When we have earthquakes that close together, similar magnitudes, we call that an earthquake swarm,” Debi Kilb, a seismologist with the Scripps Institute of Oceanography, told CNN affiliate KGTV. "When they happen bam, bam, bam like that, then that does catch our attention."

Dream Premonition of Fatal Accident

I've had many dreams of impending deaths (at least that I remembered) since my early twenties. The problem is, they're full of clues, many that fit, and are about specific people, several have been about my sons, only it's never those who actually die. These dreams always happen in the state between sleep and waking. The emotion I feel in the dream follows me out of the dream, and its level is an indicator of how close the actual person is to me. The worst one happened in in the 1980s. The horror of this dream continued into the day of the dream. In the dream, I saw my son driving his beat up old car down a road I knew well. As he drove across the railroad track, a train hit his car and pushed it down the track. That's when I woke up, horrified. I knew my son wasn't going to die, but that someone we were close to would. My son came over to visit that afternoon, and as we sat talking in my sunny living room, my walls became a strange green-tinged grayish color. Even outside, where it was hot and sunny, was this same gray (very much like the tornado-type storm clouds that come over). My son said everything looked normal to him. He left, but the strange color remained, and my fears grew. I worked until the phone rang at midnight, cleaning house because I couldn't do anything else. The phone call was from my son, and his first words to me were, "Mom, the worst has happened." His best friend, and roommate had gone to a little store less than a mile down the road from their house to get his girlfriend cigarettes. It was the road I'd seen in my dream. The store was just across the railroad tracks. A car was stalled on the track, the arm down over the hood. A little girl was stuck in the back seat, and her father was trying to free her. My son's friend ran to help as a slow freight train approached. At the last minute the father yelled for them to get out. The girl was still stuck. My son's friend was on the side the train was heading for. He got as far as the back fender when the train hit. It whipped the back end of the car around and sent the friend flying into the ditch on the other side of the road. The impact freed the little girl, and she was basically unhurt, as was the father. My son's friend was dead.

Freaky Premonitions or Deja Vu?

Okay for the past 7 years, I been having weird dreams. I was 11 years old when the dreams started. My first dream, I was walking into my school, I looked at a girl opening the door, that's it. I got out of the bed like I didn't have a dream. A month later I went in a school, I had the same vision of a girl opening the door. That really freaks me out. It was the exact same thing—the way my eye moves, the way she moves, and every little detail is exactly the same thing. It's like I can see my future but I can't remember the dream until I see the vision. So what is it? Why do I have this? My father died just before I had the dreams. Is it something to do with him?

Comfort in a Dream - Getting Better

I have had several "dreams" that were very telling, although they didn't really make sense at the time. About Thanksgiving time in 2005, I had a dream about my mother-in-law, Anne, who had passed away five years earlier. Things were not good between my husband and I. Anne was a person who had looked at the glass as half empty, but in my dream she was very positive and upbeat. She told me not to worry, that things would get better. About a month later, (... trouble with husband ...) and a divorce. All the time I could not think how things were getting better, they seemed to be getting worse ... Just a few weeks before the divorce was finalized, my (ex)husband found out he had terminal cancer and was given only three to nine months. Still can't exactly call this "getting better. Due to other health problems he survived only three months. Which looking back was probably a blessing because he had a very tough life. A few days after his funeral I had fallen asleep on the couch and something startled me and I woke up. As I opened my eyes I saw a shadowy figure in my dining room that reminded me of Anne. Nothing was said but I think that she was letting me know that things were finally going to get better.

Tooth Dream

I've had a couple of dreams come true. All are reasonably recent events; the one that stands out the most was one that I thought was something terrible, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I first thought! I was standing in front of the mirror in the bathroom and kinda slipped into a dream for a few seconds. I was standing in front of the mirror and pulling at my tooth. When I came to, I had a horrible pain in my mouth like I had pulled out a tooth, but my hands hadn't gone anywhere near my mouth. About 2 months later I was in the bathroom and it all came back to me. I started pulling at my tooth and then I just stopped. I had the same pain but my tooth, it was just like in the dream, it was still there and still is to this day healthy and happy.

Premonition of Child Falling

This may seem small in comparison to some stories you receive, but I was hoping you could tell me what you think. Last night I was in a very deep sleep and I thought to myself (in dreaming), "my two year old son is about to fall out of bed," within seconds of that thought I was woken to the sound of him falling out of bed. My question is, was this some kind of connection to maybe an out-of-body experience where my sub conscious was not with my body? Having said that I don't remember seeing anything, only a feeling or thought that it was about to happen.

Dreams of People, Visions of Angels

WELL I HAVE HAD MANY EXPERIENCES OF DREAMS THAT HAVE COME TRUE. WHEN THIS HAPPENS IT FEELS LIKE TWO WORLDS COMING TOGETHER. I WONDER WHAT IT MEANS? I HAVE DREAMED OF PEOPLE I HAVE NEVER MET AND THEN WHEN I MEET THEM I DON'T REMEMBER THEM UNTIL THEY DO WHAT THEY DID IN MY DREAM, THEN IT IS IF I AM FROZEN AND TWO WORLDS PASS. EVERY THING IS EXACTLY HOW IT IS IN MY DREAM. I AM GLAD TO HAVE THESE EXPERIENCES BECAUSE I KNOW GOD EXISTS AND THERE IS MUCH MORE TO THIS WORLD THAN WE KNOW. I ALSO HAD AN INCIDENT WHEN I WAS ABOUT 7 YEARS OLD OF SITTING ON MY PORCH WITH MY MOTHER LOOKING AT THE CLOUDS THAT'S WHEN I SAW AN ANGEL'S WING WITH DETAILED FEATHERS I COULD SEE ITS LEG TO IT WAS A PEARL LOOKING WHITE, NOT LIKE A CLOUD, IT HAD DISTINCT DETAIL. I TRIED TO SHOW MY MOTHER BUT SHE COULD NOT SEE IT. I ALSO SOMETIMES HEAR MESSAGES GIVING ME ADVICE. I HOPE THAT I WILL CONTINUE TO EXPERIENCE THESE THINGS BECAUSE THEY KEEP ME AWARE OF MY SPIRITUAL SELF.

A Child's Dream Premonitions

I was in year 8 (13 years old), I had a dream, I saw a white board texta, it was one of those gray ones with the color on each end, the color was red, and a hand was pointing it at someone, and then a male's voice said, "You've got yard duty." When I woke up, I couldn't really remember it well, but the next math lesson, one of the boys threw something at someone and the teacher turned around and then he pointed the texta (the same one I saw in my dream) and he said, "You've got yard duty." Then it all came rushing back. I thought it (seemed) pretty weird. Ever since then I have dreams every now and then, but I usually don't remember the dreams until the event happens. My dad said I used to hear voices all the time when I was younger, but my Aunty is psychic, so I must have gotten some of her psychic ability. But I still don't understand it all properly.

Grandpa's Passing - A Grandson's Premonition

I never would have believed in an premonition if I hadn't experienced it for myself. It was early morning when I dreamed of people standing over me working on me. I saw a mask pull off of my mouth as if they stopped bagging me. I woke up and told my girlfriend I had had the strangest dream, then the phone rang, it was my mother. She told me my grandpa was in the hospital. When I arrived my mother told me my grandfather had passed. I can't explain it, but I believe it to be paranormal. They told us he had died of a heart attack but recently we have found out he had a accident at work and broke his neck. I would like to hear your opinion on this matter.

Something Tragic was Going to Happen - A Son's Premonition

I was around 9 or 10 when it started, I would have a dream and within the next couple of days it played out before me like a rerun on TV. From this age till the age of 25 I had these dreams on and off. Then it stopped for 12 years. The night in question was a normal night like any other, then the dream came. In the dream I was sitting at the dining room table at my dads house talking. I wasn't sure what we were talking about but I had this overwhelming feeling something tragic was happening or going to happen. The next day I got a call from my Dad, he needed a ride to the hospital. My Dad never went to the hospital, he hated doctors. Needless to say I was concerned. We went to the hospital. He was diagnosed as having a cancerous tumor on the inside of his colon plus a slight case of diverticulitis. When I was in his house waiting for him to get dressed, a light went on in my head. I was living the dream I had dreamt the night before. He never made it out of the hospital. The whole time I knew it. I hate this thing in me, it's a damn curse.

Saved from Injury by a Vision

I was about 17, and one day I was waiting for our bus to come pick me up for school. It was very icy out that day and the bus always turned around in our driveway because we were the last ones on the road. So while I waited I had a "vision" ... no it wasn't a thought, it was a clear as crystal picture in my head. It was as if suddenly it was happening right in front of me, like someone flicked on a switch. That if I stayed where I was standing, the bus would hit me. So without thinking about it or even giving it consideration I stepped backwards two times. Sure enough the bus slid into the driveway and stopped right where I had been standing. I know too that if I hadn't moved, that I would have been hit, that's how fast it slid.

Auras, Dreams & Visions

I am 12 years old. I think I am psychic but my parents don't believe me and I really do see these things. I see these shadow human shaped figures, they were all black, green, or purple. I also see the future in my dreams. I feel this happiness, but confusion when it happens. And once I went into the bathroom and saw this greenish blackish aura surrounding me. I get really freaked out when this happens. Just today in school I had a dream actually happen (again!!), I was sitting in a specific way in a chair and the computer was a specific way. Then my sight turned all fuzzy. Then I saw the dream or glimpse of the future exactly like it was.

Sister & Brother Share Paranormal Gift

Me and my brother's main connection between each other is that we're both very much believers in the 'paranormal.' We both always had (still have) dreams that would end up playing out in 'real' life exactly as it showed in our dreams, nobody really got us, we got us. We called them future dreams. I would be like, "I had a future dream again last night." And he would always believe me. It's nice when you have these sort of experiences in your life to have people to share them with.

My 'future' dreams are never really about major things, just basic day to day things: conversations with people, seeing places, going somewhere, I dunno just regular stuff, nothing so dramatic. The thing though is when I have these dreams I don't really remember them, but when I'm at the time my dream foretold, suddenly one little gesture or one little word, one little trigger, and suddenly I remember the dream and I know, "I been here, I know this." I wish I could remember these dreams and remember when there gonna happen, not just like I remember when the event is actually in front of me.

In one of these sort of dreams, I went to church with my grandpa (I only went to church with my grandpa once in awhile, not a lot) and we sat at the pew, and this lady leans over me to speak to my grandpa. The thing about it is ... I forgot if it was a week later or more, but anyway, I found myself at church with my grandpa at the pew, and the same lady made the exact same gesture she did in my dream, said the exact same thing she said in my dream, and my grandpa responded with the exact same response he did in my dream. The trippy part is, I had never once in my life met this woman ... never ever met her but I saw her clearly in my dream, before I even met her in 'reality.'

The Future - Dreams of Future Events

For over twenty years, I've had dreams while asleep which unfold in the real world. Sometimes the events happen later the next day to weeks later to a year later. For me, they happen exactly as I saw in the dream, right down to the small details. When I notice a dreamed event happening before me, I can tell you what will happen next, who was wearing what clothes, who said what—word for word, etc. Unless too much time has passed, then it takes my mind a while to recall it. I have these dreams all of the time. The majority of them are of small things; like someone talking and I'll know what he'll say or do. Or something I'll see such as a new book or magazine and already know it and recall things in it. Other times they're a little more important like an engine failure on a plane I was on. I think all of the dreams began after I drowned in the ocean as a kid. As far as I know, or what I've been told, I was really out—gone, dead, whatever. I wasn't pulled from the water for a good while. So I guess it's safe to assume that the death somehow "activated" my dreams of future events. Who knows? I'm 32 now and still have these dreams.

Son Returns - Vision of Future Event

I found myself constantly looking at the door and when I did, I could see in my mind's eye my son coming through it. He, as far as I knew, was in Dallas and I didn't expect to see him anytime soon. But, all day long on that day, I felt like I would be seeing him. I must have looked up at that door 20 or more times, each time expecting to see him. Normally when he would come for a visit, I would have to drive to Austin, Texas to pick him up at the bus depot so to me, this "vision" was just my imagination. About two that afternoon, I looked up at the door and there he was in the doorway just as I had envisioned.

Friend in Trouble - Prophetic Dream

When I was 12 I think, I was camping with some friends. We were all sitting in the tent in the middle of the night. I was kind of tired so I laid my head down and closed my eyes. Within seconds I had an Image of my best friend standing out in the rain. She had her bags packed and she was looking up into the sky. I remember her calling my name and saying, "Get down here Sandra I need you now!" I could feel her words pass through every part of my body. I shot up and told everyone that Teila was in some sort of trouble. After a while they finally got me to calm down, that it was only a dream, but I still couldn't shake it from my mind. So the next day I called the number where she was supposed to be staying. They said she had left last night and no one knew where she was. I was so scared because I knew she needed me. She told me she did.

Dream of Future Event - Grandfather's Death

A couple of years back, around the time I was 12, my grandfather's sister, (my great aunt) died. It was the first death I had really ever experienced and the first funeral I had ever attended. Being kind of young and not sure of life, it really hit me hard and I recall having various haunting nightmares where my aunt's coffin would pop out from under my bed, but one dream really stuck. My aunt's coffin had somehow appeared outside my house. It was a terribly windy day, in my dream, and my grandfather was standing next to the open coffin staring in. I asked him if he was okay but as in the actual funeral, he just nodded and stared blankly. He looked in at it as if preparing himself for what was next. His death. I awoke in a panic of fear, but nothing had happened and I simply dismissed it as a nightmare. 3 years later, we had a family reunion at my house. My grandfather was struggling with Parkinson's disease so he sat at the kitchen counter all night. I decided to talk to him. I asked him if he was okay for some reason. He stared ahead blankly and didn't answer. It spooked me, so I left him there. Three days later, he died.

Wishing Psychic Dreams Would Stop

My psychic dreams started when I was about 12 or 13 years old. I hate them and wish they would stop. They make me paranoid and anxious.

Dream of Future Event - Aunt's Death

In dreams I can see people dying and how they die. Then at anytime I will feel deja vu. Then later on some one will tell me that the person that I had a dream about had died. The last person I have done this for was my aunt. But this one was different. I was 12 at the time, and I was in my Math class. I had this weird feeling and thought about my aunt. I couldn't understand why I thought about her since she lived in N. Carolina and I was in Kentucky. I felt like something was wrong but then just thought I was losing my mind. Ten minutes later my granddad came to school and got me. I asked him why he had taken me out of school and he said that Aunt Pam had slipped in the shower and broke her neck and died. They left that night to go to N. Carolina for her funeral. I have seen people get hurt and die in my dreams all the time now.

Dream of Future Event - Father's Accident

One morning several months ago, I woke up and decided that I wanted to sleep a bit more. I immediately fell back asleep and drifted into a short dream. In the dream, I was walking down a street and encountered my father. As my father looked at me, I noticed that his right eye was gushing blood—as if it was punctured. My father said something to me in the dream, which I couldn't recall later. I awoke from this short dream and got out of bed. As I ate breakfast, I thought to myself that this dream was very non-sequitor and came out of left field. I filed this dream away in the "strange" file in my psyche and went about my daily work routine. A few hours later, I received a panicked call from my mother who was calling from the emergency room in the hospital. My father, who was remodeling their master bedroom, punctured his eye with a nail as he was removing an old window. My mother described his injury. Blood was gushing out of his eye—just as I had seen in my dream. I asked my mother if he punctured his right eye. She said yes (although I have a 50/50 chance of getting question this right, I do remember my father's right eye gushing blood in the dream). Thankfully, the nail didn't hit my father's cornea. He recovered and retains full vision in his right eye. The dream—while creepy—did make me realize that perhaps some of us have the ability to see into the future. I am wondering when my next "insightful" dream will occur...

Dream of Future Event - Cousin's Death

I can feel some one's death before it happens. Two weeks before a cousin of mine died of cancer I felt his death; it made me feel tired and very sad inside. It felt like I was dying inside. The Saturday before he died we all were sitting in his room. I happened to look up and I felt the presence of someone flying all around him. That Sunday morning I was at work and I felt a calm peace come over me. About 15 minutes later the phone rang at work and they told me he had just died. I had always had the ability to tell when death is near. I can walk outside and feel the quietness and stillness of the night and can tell you that someone has died. I do not know who it is but the majority of them is connected to me somehow. I feel the closer I get to God the stronger my gift gets.

Gift or Burden? - Psychic Dreams

I had a terrible dream about a fire where I was obsessed about getting the children first out the window and then into the bathroom. This was all complicated because I was pregnant (so I couldn't get out the window) and when I was in a 'normal' frame of mind I could see that in my house there was no point going into the bathroom to escape a fire. That evening it was reported there was a terrible fire not too far from us. A mother was trying to save her children by throwing them out the window because flames blocked the stairs (this detail was in my dream as well) and the reporter said the family could have been saved had they shut themselves in the bathroom! This was a horrific dream for me. I do not watch scary movies or even the news because I worry about getting these nightmares—but if they are actually coming true, I feel a terrible burden of responsibility. Why am I shown these events before they happen when I can do nothing to prevent them? I am about to publish my first book and before I even wrote it, I made a note, just for fun, of who my agent and publisher were going to be and it came 100% true. Being able to see (or create?) the future can be fun sometimes, but these nightmares really stink.

Dream of Future Event - Grandmother's Death

I wasn't notified by my family due to a terrible breakdown in communications when I was a child. Anyway, on Sept. 24th, I dreamed of speaking with a policeman. He told me how concerned he was for my situation. He told me that my grandmother died of a heart attack last Tuesday. When I woke, I didn't give the dream much thought, (I regret that very, very much) but I did write it down in my dream journal. A couple of months later, I called the nursing home to check up on my grandmother. They told me that she had died on Sept. 21 of a heart attack. I was overcome by emotion. I ran to a calendar to check the date, Sept. 21. It was a Tuesday. I know that since I did not have a caring functional family, that I am guided by beings that help me through dreams. It amazes me and I am grateful for their help and guidance.

Something Spooky - Psychic Dreams

I am a married, 32 year old mother. Believe me, I am the most normal kind of person that you would ever want to meet. I have had something spooky happen. I dreamed that my husband put our home up for sale. (This is not likely to ever happen in the real world.) I was standing there crying, not wanting it to happen, but unable to stop it. He and my three children just sort of ignored me and kept going. There were a few other people there too, but I don't remember who they were. This morning when I took one of my children to our neighbor's house for preschool, I brought up my dream. Guess what—she dreamed Sunday night that we had our house up for sale. In her dream she was helping to pack things. My husband and children were there, but I was not. She thought it was such a weird dream that she told her husband. Gotta tell ya—I'm pretty spooked about this.
